Nordicon proudly offers our clients a seamless way to opt for renewable fuels through our customer portal, My Nordicon. With just a few clicks, you can easily switch to certified liquid biomethane through a verified book & claim system and reduce your CO2 emissions by up to 100%.
There are many different types of biofuels on the market with varying climate impacts, depending on how they are produced and used. The different biofuels offer emission reductions between 20 – 100%.
This gives biomethane a significantly lower climate impact compared to other biofuels and is therefore the optimal and most sustainable alternative on the market, and why Nordicon has chosen to proceed with this product.
All CO2 reductions are verified by an independent third party to guarantee accuracy and prevent double counting.
By choosing Nordicon GreenwayZ, customers can book their ocean shipments using fully renewable liquefied biomethane through a book-and-claim approach based on the energy required to transport containers across the ocean.
This fuel, certified by the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC), contains no palm oil feedstocks and reduces WtW (well-to-wake) CO2 emissions per container by 100% compared to conventional fossil fuels.
Customers will receive proof of the sustainable fuel purchase, including an independently verified certificate confirming the CO2 reduction achieved through the fuel switch. By switching to renewable fuels with Nordicon, you can accomplish a fossil-free transport solution for your LCL and the possibility to reduce your emissions within Scope 3.
